Food Bank
To facilitate this service, we buy surplus food from the Fareshare Cymru Charity and distribute it through daily and weekly food packages to young people and families around Torfaen who are in need of the service.
Foodbank Fridays
FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take surplus food of a good quality from across the food industry and ensure it reaches the wider community.
Cwmbran Centre for Young People is part of the FareShare community, and we provide daily and weekly food packages for young people and young families across Torfaen, who are in need of the service.
Our deliveries are received every Friday, and we produce over 25 food parcels per week, many are offering specifically catered parcels for young people who may not naturally be exposed or able to access health food options.
